Windows

Light, ventilation and a finished panel

A window is often the first change a customer makes to a panel van, and it is a job we are happy to carry out on its own. Cutting, bonding and trimming a van window properly is what keeps it weathertight and looking factory-fitted.

A standalone job or part of a build

One window, or every panel

You do not need a conversion booked to have a window fitted. We cut and bond single windows into otherwise standard Volkswagen T5, T6 and T6.1 panel vans, as well as fitting a complete set of glazing as part of a full build.

The aperture is marked and cut to the glass, edges are treated to protect the bare steel, and the pane is bonded using automotive adhesive before the interior trim or carpet lining is finished around it.

  • Sliding door, rear quarter, tailgate and barn-door glazing
  • Cut edges sealed and protected before bonding
  • Automotive bonding adhesive and correct cure time
  • Interior trim and carpet lining finished around the aperture
  • Blinds, flyscreens and privacy options where available

Glazing options

Choosing the right glass for the panel

Fixed bonded windows

A fixed pane gives the cleanest appearance and the simplest, most weathertight installation. It suits panels where light matters more than airflow, such as the rear quarters or a tailgate.

Sliding windows

A sliding pane adds controlled ventilation, which is useful in the living area of a camper and alongside a bed. Mesh and privacy options can be specified where available for the panel.

Privacy and tinted glass

Privacy glass reduces visibility into the van and keeps the interior looking finished from outside. Tint level is chosen to suit the panel position and the rest of the vehicle glazing.
