What we collect
When you send an enquiry we collect your name, email address, phone number, vehicle details and anything you choose to tell us in your message. If you go on to book work with us, we also keep the records needed to carry out and support that work, such as the agreed specification, quotation, invoices and vehicle registration.
Why we use it
We use this information to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quotation, carry out the work, keep the records required for our workmanship guarantee and any manufacturer warranty, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing emails unless you ask us to.
Lawful bases for using your information
We use personal information only where we have a lawful basis to do so. Depending on the reason for using it, this may include taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing a contract with you, meeting our legal obligations, or our legitimate interests in running and protecting the business and responding to enquiries. Where consent is required, such as for optional marketing or certain cookies, we will ask for it separately.
Who we share it with
We share information only where it is needed to do the job: suppliers and manufacturers when equipment is ordered or registered for warranty, and our email, website and accounting providers as part of running the business. Those providers act on our instructions.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted once they are no longer relevant. Customer records are kept for the period required for guarantee, warranty and accounting purposes.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email sales@potteriescamperco.co.uk and we will deal with it. If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
